Training Best Practices (For Admins & Team Leads)
Use these strategies to roll out and sustain Medbridge Care training across your organization.
1. Assign Knowledge Tracks Through the LMS
Use the pre-built, plan-specific Care Training Knowledge Tracks in the LMS to ensure every user has access to the right resources based on their role and plan.
2. Incorporate Training Into Onboarding
Every new hire should complete platform training as part of their onboarding plan.
- Assign the relevant LMS Knowledge Track automatically or manually
- Introduce Super Users or team leads to guide real-time questions
- Review job aids during orientation to familiarize staff with clinical workflows
Tip
Pair self-guided learning with peer walkthroughs in the early days of platform use.
3. Use a Train-the-Trainer Model
Empower Super Users and Clinical Leaders to take ownership of training by giving them the tools to lead refreshers, team huddles, or small group sessions.
Super User responsibilities:
- Champion platform adoption and model workflows
- Host informal walkthroughs or peer demos
- Surface feedback and coordinate with Medbridge or your admin
- Support new hire onboarding alongside the LMS content
Tip
Introduce Super Users at staff meetings and clarify their role as internal coaches and advocates.
4. Offer Refresher Sessions & Office Hours
Training shouldn't stop after go-live. Ongoing touchpoints help sustain adoption and address evolving needs.
- Schedule quarterly refreshers or "Ask Me Anything" office hours
- Highlight new features, usage tips, and clinical examples
- Tailor sessions to team-specific challenges
Optional: Host Role-Based Live Training Sessions
If your organization has the internal capacity, host your own live training for specific roles.
- 30–60 minute sessions tailored by role
- Include: brief overview, demo of core workflows, reference job aids
- Invite Super Users to lead or co-facilitate
Tip
Record these sessions for future use and pair them with your LMS materials.
