This article explains how to edit, delete, and share Home Exercise Program (HEP) templates with colleagues.
This article focuses on actions performed in the Templates tab. For creating templates and using with patients, see How do I create and use HEP templates?
Edit or Delete a Template
- First, go to the template area of your HEP tools.
Classic: Home Exercise Programs under the Patient Engagement tab, then Manage Templates.
Medbridge Care: From the main menu, go to Patient Care, then HEP, then Templates. - You'll only be able to edit templates you have created, unless you are an administrator. To filter to just the template you've created, select My Templates from the created by drop down.
- To edit a template, select Edit, and you'll be taken to the HEP Builder. From here you can add or remove exercises, update patient education, modify the parameters, and change the template name the same way you would build a home exercise program.
- Use the Save button if you would like to save the changes to this template. Use Save As New Template button if you would like to save this as a new template.
- To delete, select Delete on the Manage Templates screen. To confirm you want to delete the template, select Delete again. Deleting this template will remove it from the template list.
Share Template with Colleagues
- First, go to the template area of your HEP tools.
Classic: Home Exercise Programs under the Patient Engagement tab, then Manage Templates.
Medbridge Care: From the main menu, go to Patient Care, then HEP, then Templates. - Locate the template you want to share. Use the Share toggle to turn sharing on or off. Turning the toggle On makes the template visible to other clinicians in your practice, and they can find it under Created by anyone.
Note: if you do not see the sharing option, sharing may not be enabled for your organization. Reach out to your administrator for more information.
