The Clinician Dashboard can provide key data for monitoring and managing your Pathways patients. This information can help you prioritize patient outreach by seeing patient information like invitation status (invited vs enrolled), engagement status (such as not started, low engagement, stalled, and dropped), and RTM progress and billing.
Within the dashboard, there are four main section types: Invites, Engagement, RTM, and Pathways programs. In this article, we'll show you how to navigate these dashboard sections:
Navigating to the Pathways Clinician Dashboard

Start by signing in to your Medbridge account. At the top of the page, select Patient Engagement, then select Pathways.
- You'll start on the Pathways home page and see three tabs: Patients, Pathways, and Dashboard. To open the Clinician Dashboard, select Dashboard.
Each dashboard page has a Filter button at the top right corner to adjust the data on the page, such as filtering by clinicians or pathways. An indicator dot will appear on the Filter button when a filter is active. To remove filters, refresh your browser.
Select Data definitions at any time to view a list of your data metrics and their meanings. When you're ready, you can navigate back to your dashboard by selecting one of the dashboard tabs.
You can also select Export to download a PDF or CSV file of certain data.
On each dashboard page, you’ll also see tables with individual patients listed. You can hover over a patient’s name to and select Go to profile to jump directly to the patient profile within Pathways.
Invites
When opening the Dashboard, you should land on the Invites tab. The Invites tab allows you to monitor patient enrollments by tracking the status of invitations and enrollment metrics.
The bar graph demonstrates how many invites were sent and how many became enrollments within a given time period, by month. To the right, you can quickly see KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) related to engagement for that time period: total invites, total enrollments, and activation rate.
The activation rate shows how often invites turn into enrollments. A strong activation rate is 75% or higher, meaning three out of four invites lead to an enrollment.
Below the graph, there is an Invite detail table. This table shows additional information at the individual patient level, including when an invite was sent, whether or not a patient enrolled, and (if they did enroll) their data of enrollment. To quickly see all patients who have not enrolled, you can filter this table using the Enrolled Y/N drop down. Filtering to N will show everyone who has not enrolled.
Note: A 48 hour reminder automatically goes out to patients who have received an invite but not yet enrolled. A common best practice is to call or message patients three days after the invite date if they have still not enrolled.
Engagement
The Engagement tab helps you monitor patient activity levels and observe if they are staying engaged with their care plan.
The bar graph shows patients based on their engagement status over their first 30 days.
- Not Started: Patients who created an account but haven’t logged an activity.
- Low Engagement: Patients inactive for 2-14 days.
- Stalled: Patients inactive for 14-21 days.
- Dropped: Patients inactive for 21+ days.
Activities include:
- Viewed an exercise video
- Viewed an lesson video
- Complete an typeform assessment (baseline, weekly check in, final)
- Complete PROMIS assessment
- Logged an exercise (activity)
- Logged a rest day
- Logged other activity
- Complete story lesson
- Completed a movement assessment
Underneath the bar graph is the Engagement detail table, detailing information at the individual patient level. Clicking any bar in the graph will filter the table to show those specific patients. For instance, you can click on a “Not Started” column to filter the table to show only patients who haven’t logged an activity yet.
Most clinicians aim to keep the Engaged patients as the largest group for new patients, as this indicates they’re active weekly and meeting their goals.
Common best practices
- Some clinicians aim to check in with every patient at least once a week during their first 30 days.
- It’s common to consider different outreach strategies based on different levels of engagement. For example, patients who haven’t started may need instructions on logging in while stalled patients may need encouragement to keep up with their exercises.
RTM
The RTM (Remote Therapeutic Monitoring) tab provides data specific to patients with RTM tracking activated. This tab provides easy viewing of all your patients with RTM turned on, their current progress in their current interval and your monthly billing report.
Patient management information is displayed in two graphs: the Current interval status graph and the Current month treatment graph. These graphs allow you to quickly glance at how many patients are currently meeting or not meeting activity and interaction requirements for RTM billing. This information can be used to inform outreach strategy. Any filtering you do on these charts will filter what information is available in the RTM patient management detail table below.
The RTM patient management detail table allows you to view individual patients and how they are performing against the activity and interaction requirements, as well as details like interval start and end dates, interval activity days, and remaining days in the interval. You can click a patient's name to jump to their Pathways patient record.
The RTM billing section includes a monthly monitoring and treatment graph as well as a billing detail table.
The RTM monthly monitoring and treatment graph can be filtered to show a specific billing month or all months, allowing you to easily see what percentage of patients met the criteria for each code over different periods (based on the number of patients eligible to meet the criteria). Adjusting the time period on this graph will adjust the time period displayed in the billing detail table below.
The RTM billing detail table shows specific billing details and will not populate unless you have patients who have RTM enabled. You can see all of your patients who have RTM enabled in the displayed time period. It can be filtered based on if individuals have met the requirements to be billed.
Pathways programs tabs
All Pathways programs will be visible as separate tabs. Within these tabs, you can view any alerts or aggregate assessment results from within the program, letting you results week over week. For example, the MSK tab shows pain or function regression updates based on patient assessments within the MSK Pathways while the Falls tab shows any Fall alerts reported by the patient.
The top of each page will demonstrate how many incidents were reported in the last week, current week, and yesterday. Beneath these numbers, there are assessment detail tables showing individual patient information and additional insights into any reported changes.
Note: tabs for all programs will be visible, even if your organization isn’t using them. For instance, you will see an MSK tab even if you’re not using the MSK Pathways program.
