Individual Users and Self-Service Admins
Individual users, including Self-Service Admins, create their accounts directly on the site during the purchase process. As part of this flow, they set their own username and password. Because the account is created and activated immediately, these users do not receive a welcome or activation email.
Organization Users
Organization users are typically added to an account by an admin rather than signing up themselves. When an admin adds a new user to an organization, that user receives a welcome email with instructions to complete their account setup.
Please Note: Depending on the organization, users might receive a welcome and an activation email when their account is created.
