Change Management

Change for any organization can be difficult, but that’s especially true in the busy, ever-changing world of health care. In order to successfully implement a quality improvement initiative at your organization, it’s important to address any barriers to change head-on. 

Change management theory notes that there are both organizational and individual barriers to change. Either of these barriers can derail your quality improvement efforts and prevent you from making a change that will positively impact patients. Start by assessing whether your organization is ready for change. If you determine the organization is ready to make a change, consider assigning the following home health change management courses across your leadership and clinical supervisor teams to improve the effectiveness of your quality improvement initiatives.
