If you’ve evaluated your patient and determined they are eligible for and interested in RTM, you’re ready to enroll them. Whether you’re working with a new patient or an existing patient, RTM enrollment is simple with the Medbridge Home Exercise Program builder.
New Patient
- From your Medbridge Dashboard, hover over Patient Engagement in the upper right corner and select Home Exercise Programs.
- Select Create Patient.
- Enter the patient’s name, birthdate, phone number, and email. Be sure to check the boxes at the bottom of this page to enable messaging and pain and difficulty reporting. When you’re done, click Add new patient and you’ll be taken to the patient profile. For more information on Creating a Patient, check out this video.
- Click Build Program to be taken to the HEP Builder. Search for and add exercises to the program. When you’re done, click Save in the lower right-hand corner. Learn more about Building a Program by watching this video.
- You’ll be presented with a window where you can select a treatment category, the discipline of the program, and an episode name. Make sure to check the Enable RTM for this episode box. By default, patient messaging and pain and difficulty reporting will be enabled for this episode.
- Click Save Program.
- You’ll be automatically prompted to log your Onboarding RTM Activity. Note how long the process took in the duration field and optionally add notes. This information will help you when you bill the 98975 code.
- When you’re done, be sure to share your program with your patient via email or text.
Did you know? Medbridge found that when programs are shared electronically, patients log in 9 times more frequently than when they receive a printout.
