In this demonstration, we’ll review how to set up and manage automatic Knowledge Track notifications.
After creating your Knowledge Track, navigate to the Knowledge Tracks Library. Locate the Knowledge Track, and choose Manage Notifications. From here, you can create a notification for users or collaborators.
To set up reminders for learners who have been assigned the knowledge track, click users. Choose the timing of the notification, to be delivered before or after the Knowledge Track is due. If you’ve set up due dates for individual sections of the knowledge track, you can also select “section due date” to send notifications before or after each section is due. Next, you can preview the notification, then close out of the pop-up browser, make any edits, and save.
To send Knowledge Track reports to yourself and colleagues, choose Collaborator Notification. You will automatically be included in all Collaborator notifications that you create, and you can also add other registered administrators and managers.
Collaborators can receive updates based on completions or based on a timeline: Completion notifications send an email each time a user completes the knowledge track. In contrast, the Completion Report emails a progress report on a day (or days) of your choosing. The report will be scoped to collaborators’ specific roles. Next, you can preview the notification, then close out of the pop-up browser, and save.
You can set up as many user and collaborator notifications as you’d like, and you can make changes to notifications by choosing Manage Notifications from the Knowledge Tracks Library. You can also delete the notification from this page.
This concludes our demonstration on how to set up and manage automatic Knowledge Track notifications.
