Using filters is a great way to browse through categories of exercises. In this tutorial, we’ll review how to use filters to find the right exercise for your patient when building an HEP.
The “List” filter groups exercises into major categories such as purpose, equipment, and specialty. Leveraging the “Specialty Filter” can be a great option for clinicians looking for sub-groups of exercises such as SLP, Neurology, Hand Therapy, or Pediatrics. Once you choose a filter, exercises will appear in the center of the screen. If you’re having trouble finding the exercise you’re looking for, try removing some of the filters you’ve applied to broaden your search...by clicking the “x” next to the category at the top of the page, or by clearing all to start over.
The “simple” view provides groupings of exercises based on each major body region or patient position. This filter can also be helpful when looking for an exercise with a specific piece of equipment, such as a resistance band.
To use the “body” filter, hover over the body and select the region that pertains to the exercise you are looking for. You can also flip the body over and search for exercises from the back view.
Thanks for watching our demonstration on how to use exercise filters.
