With MedBridge, you can track your patient’s adherence to their exercise program so you know exactly which exercises they’ve performed since their last in-person visit.
Let’s take a closer look at how to track patient adherence using MedBridge.
To view adherence data, start by finding your patient from your patient list. From this page, you can see how many times your patients have logged in, so you know right away which patients have data to review. Select a patient’s name to be taken to their profile.
From the patient profile, you can see a graph that tracks a patient’s adherence over time for the current episode of care. You can switch episodes by selecting another episode from the left side of the page.
Each time you update a patient’s program, a new point will be created on the graph, so you can see how changes you make impact adherence.
Scrolling down the page, you can see a summary of the current exercise program. If your patient has sent messages about any exercises, you’ll see a notification on the exercise tile. You can also see if patients have or have not viewed any assigned patient education. You can view past programs by clicking on the drop down menu.
Scroll back up to the top of the page and select “view details” to get more information about your patient’s adherence to each exercise. From here, you can see if any exercises were marked as painful, difficult, too easy, or were skipped. You can also see a chart which shows which exercises were completed on each day.
Reviewing adherence data can help facilitate conversations with your patient about barriers to program adherence. If a patient is showing low adherence, consider sending them a quick message to get them reengaged.
