Once you've been assigned a Skills program, you can track your progress directly from your dashboard. This includes monitoring checklist completion, viewing feedback from your Preceptor, and checking for any skills that need follow-up.
For help with completing resources or submitting your self-assessment, you can read this article.
Open Your Skills Program
- From your Dashboard, any programs you’ve been assigned will appear in the section labeled Skills (Student).
- Select the card for the program you want to review.
Each program card includes:
- Program name
- Number of required skills and resources
- Your current completion progress
- Assignment and due dates (if applicable)
Review Your Checklist Progress
- Inside the program, you'll see a list of checklists.
- Select any checklist to view its contents.
- For each skill, you'll see a status label, such as:
- Not Reviewed: your Preceptor has not yet evaluated this skill
- Completed: your Preceptor has marked this skill as complete
- N/A: this skill was marked not applicable and is counted as complete
-
Remediation Needed: your Preceptor marked this skill for follow-up
Your checklist progress bar will update automatically as your Preceptor reviews each skill. Only Required skills marked as Completed or N/A count toward progress. Skills marked Remediation Needed or left Not Reviewed will not count.
View Preceptor Feedback
- To view feedback, expand any skill that has been reviewed. If your Preceptor added a note, you'll see it listed under the skill.
- Select Show Audit Log to see a timeline of all status changes and comments.
Feedback is visible to you as soon as your Preceptor completes the review.
Notes
- You cannot mark your own skills complete; all evaluations are done by your assigned Preceptor.
- Self-Assessment surveys and training resources are completed separately and tracked alongside your skill checklist, but do not count towards the completion status for the program.
