You may find that you need to cancel a patient’s pathway due to changes in their health status or other personal needs. You can cancel a pathway in the patient’s Pathways record.
Navigating to the Patient Record
- Start by signing in to your Medbridge account. At the top of the page, select Patient Engagement, then select Pathways.
- You'll start on the Pathways home page and see three tabs: Patients, Pathways, and Dashboard. To see the patient list, select Patients.
From here, select the patient to view their patient record.
Canceling a Pathway
- Select the menu button next to the pathway title. This will open the Manage pathways menu.
- Select the Manage button.
- On the pathway you want to cancel, select the Cancel pathway button.
- Open the dropdown menu and select your reason for canceling the pathway. If none of the options listed match the situation, you can select Other and write the reason in the provided text field.
Note: This information can be helpful for record keeping, so we recommend being as accurate as possible with the reason for canceling.
- To. finalize canceling the pathway, select Cancel pathway.
