Video Transcript
Welcome to MedBridge GO, where your patients can access high-quality videos of any exercises you’ve assigned them, making it easy to engage in their care from the comfort of home. Not only can patients follow along with education and exercise videos, but they can also log their activity, send messages, and report pain and difficulty, giving you valuable information to support your clinical decision making.
Today, we'll show you how easy it is to set your patients up for a successful rehab experience by downloading and logging in to the MedBridge GO app.
Meet Jim. Let’s say you’re working with him to rehab from a knee surgery. You know that he’s more likely to comply with his program if he can access it from his phone, so you decide to set him up with the MedBridge GO App. Let’s take a look at that process so you can answer any questions he might have.
First, Jim needs to download and log into the MedBridge GO app. To speed up the process in the clinic, we recommend you ask patients to download the app from the app store on their device before they meet with you. Your front desk staff can remind Jim to do that when he arrives for his appointment.
Once you’ve built Jim the perfect HEP, you can assign it to him in a variety of ways. The easiest is to send the program via text message.
When he opens the message and taps the link, he’ll be taken right to the app and his unique 8-digit access code will automatically be entered.
If your patient has not downloaded the app, they will be prompted to download the app, and will need to tap the link again to input the access code.
Once Jim enters his access code, he'll be asked to create an account. The first step is to enter his name, birthday, and email. It's crucial that the information he provides matches the details on his patient profile.
For example, if you have “James” listed on his patient profile, Jim will need to enter his full name within MedBridge GO. This ensures that his protected patient information remains secure.
Next, Jim needs to create a username and password. We recommend entering an email address for the username so it’s easy to remember. Once the user name and password is created, Jim will be prompted to enter that information to login.
After accepting the user agreement, he can choose to enable fingerprint or other device authentication methods for a more seamless login experience in the future.
In addition to MedBridge GO, Jim can access his program from any device by visiting medbridgego.com.
Now that Jim has successfully logged in, he is ready to explore the MedBridge GO app. Here, he can access his assigned exercises and educational content, set reminders, and more.
In future videos, we'll delve into more details about the patient experience and showcase additional features of MedBridge GO. For now, if you have any questions, be sure to visit the MedBridge Help Center for more information.
